Sky Team – Ready for Landing!
Sky Team is a challenging cooperative two-player game that puts you in the cockpit of an airplane. As a pilot team, you must work together to land the plane safely. Each player takes on a role: one controls the landing gear, brakes, and communicates with the tower, while the other manages the flaps and radio. The limited communication during dice rolling adds tension – you have to carefully balance your rolls and actions to keep the plane stable.
The game offers a variety of exciting scenarios, from simpler landings to difficult approaches with crosswinds, frozen brakes, or low fuel. Each runway has its own challenges, increasing the game’s replayability. Despite its simple dice-placement mechanism, Sky Team creates a real sense of urgency and responsibility. It truly feels like you are in the cockpit, fighting for a safe landing.
What we love most is how seamlessly the theme integrates with the mechanics. Every mistake – whether it's too little thrust, improper flap settings, or incorrect speed – leads to dramatic consequences. The tension builds every round as each dice roll becomes critical.
A thrilling experience
In one of our games, everything went wrong – the plane was constantly wobbling as we fought to keep control. In the final round, with our last drop of coffee, we managed to level the plane just before touchdown, pulling off a perfect landing. The relief was immense, and it felt like we had truly saved the day!
We loved Sky Team so much that we designed a custom-made premium insert that not only improves organization but also significantly speeds up the setup. Without the insert, sorting the game components can take quite some time, but with our organizer, setup is a breeze. We’re particularly proud of our 3D-printed sliders, which greatly enhance the gameplay experience. They’re much more comfortable to use than the original cardboard sliders, and they keep the values securely in place.
